Life Members

Tom Hawkins- born in Belbutte, Saskatchewan on December 25, 1920; he served in the armed services until his discharge in 1945. His career as a sports builder began with baseball. He coached five seasons with National Little League, and helped form the Gordon Head Little League as well as the Cosmopolitan Babe Ruth League. He was one of the original pioneers that help to form the Victoria & District Baseball Association in 1948 , serving on the board of directors as its treasurer for more than 15 years.

HUDLIN, Douglas December 12, 1922 - January 5, 2014 Passed away from congested heart failure at the age of 91. Born December 12, 1922 in Victoria. Leaving behind his wife, Agnes Hudlin, and daughter and many nieces and nephews. He worked for the city for 30 years. He was active in sports and umpired for 40 plus years. Doug was inducted into the Victoria Sports Hall of Fame in 1998. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on January 12, 2014 at Sands Funeral Home, 1803 Quadra Street, Victoria, B.C. Reception to follow after service.
